One of the most hyped albums of the year turned out to be one of the most not-surprising ones. Remember when Bjork was making each of her LPs characteristic and different? This era ended with Biophilia. Vulnicura and Utiopia are both examples of a genius, who starts to record the same music all over again, which sounds more of a collection of magnificent and thought-provoking B-sides than a new quality. It’s nice, pleasant, thoughtful, but not groundbreaking or masterful.
